Namakubi 生首 - "freshly-severed head" is a grotesque and brutal Japanese motif meant to frighten and shock onlookers. Depicted is the vanquished Akuma (evil spirit) head skewered on a katana. Written on the banner in kanji is 知るか! (shiru ka!) the very rude proclamation of "I don't give a shit," or "no fucks given" in Japanese. Be unphased by the things other people say or do without giving a single fucking care in the world!
